The University of Arizona (U of A) CyberSkills2Work offers a short-term, intensive training program designed to grow and diversify the cybersecurity workforce in the areas of cybersecurity risk management and artificial intelligence. The program offers two pathways in an asynchronous and online learning environment. Each provide training, industry certification prep, job-matching support, program support resources, and a career path to the growing field of cybersecurity for transitioning military personnel, transitioning first responders, military spouses and veterans.
This track ensures that participants can facilitate AI adoption by supporting the users of AI-enabled solutions , build, train, and deploy AI/ML models while optimizing system performance, and analyze datasets to uncover trends, generate reports, and support data-driven decision-making across various domains. Additionally, participants will be equipped to integrate AI solutions securely, assess ethical risk in AI applications, and develop strategies for responsible and effective AI deployment within organizations.
Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
Must be a veteran, transitioning service member, first responder, military spouse or government personnel.
Must have at least a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent. (School transcripts of the highest level education completed are required.)
Basic computer and IT skills.
