Cyber Instructor Pathway: Teach AI Security

You already know security. This pathway teaches you to teach it. Over one semester at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), trainees master the content of CompTIA SecAI+, then learn to design, deliver, and evaluate hands-on instruction in it using the RIT Global Cybersecurity Institute Cyber Range. The pathway ends with each trainee teaching two graded modules to live learners and assembling a portfolio that documents their instructional skill.

About this pathway

Trainees learn each SecAI+ domain as learners and then teach it: AI concepts, securing AI systems, AI-assisted security operations, and AI governance, risk, and compliance.

Along the way they practice adult-learning design, writing measurable learning objectives, building valid assessments, adapting and co-facilitating cyber-range labs, and leading technical discussions. The pathway concludes with a supervised teach-back capstone, submission of trainee curriculum to the CLARK national repository, and career support through the CyberSkills2Work National Employers Network.
